Chief Of US Air Force To Fly Tejas, The Indian Made Aircraft
Chief of the Staff of the U.S. Air Force General David L Goldfein flew the incomparable light fighter aircraft, named Tejas. This flight was specially arranged which took off from the Air Force Station at Jodhpur that indicated the towering ties between both the air forces.
The chief of the U.S. Air Force was given company by A P Singh, the AVM. He was the co-pilot in the 40-minute long flight. In fact, General David L Goldfein happens to be the first chief commander from foreign who flew in a multi-role fighter that is basically the reinstatement of the aging aircraft of MiG-21.
This news was circulated in the tweeter in a post that stated that the General flew India made aircraft of LCA Tejas at the station of Air Force at Jodhpur.
The high ranking U.S. official reached India in order to deepen the relationship bond between the Air Forces of both the countries. The General posted on Facebook about the existing strong relationship between both the countries and he is positive about a stronger relationship.
He also mentioned the procurement of the IAF’s C-17 Globe master aircraft for transport which has the capability to lift tankers to the borders with Pakistan and China.
The U.S. Air Force Chief further added that the IAF functions the C-17 fleet, which is ranked the second largest among the others. This continues to flourish in order to enhance the fleet operation that will successfully support the regional mobility requirements.
Tejas, which is being introduced by the AF, is considered as one of the biggest endorsements of the combat aircraft which has been under the construction for approximately more than thirty years.
He further stated that he is not a person to fly a fighter but the ride felt extremely smooth, which added to the positivity offered by the fighter.
