eufy support thinks it is a router setting. I hope it works from you too. But I just can't see the camera, etc. Thanks! I had the same trouble and had to back the lower screw out ever so slightly to allow the backing plate to straighten. Rebooted doorbells, base, switch, router. I had a 16V 10VAC transformer at the time and upgraded that to the referenced 16V 30VAC above. I have tried numerous things and nothing seems to correct the issue. At that time, I removed the port forwarding settings on the router and rebooted both the router and the doorbell to establish new connections everywhere. Also tried with a tablet, both connected to first the 5 and then the 2.4. have you tried downgrading the firmware a version or 2? Has anyone else had this issues? I purchased the wired doorbell a few months ago and have tried daily to tweak settings to give consistent results but no luck.
Feels like I’m going to rip the whole thing off. I can not do anything at all all with the doorbell when it comes to video streaming, etc. Reason why is the doorbell is functional when devices aren't on wifi.
My doorbell would not power on. I cannot get the bottom half to of the doorbell to “click” into place on to the wall bracket.. And no other devices (other than the eufy) are having issues? When I connect it to homekit, the stream stops working. Trying to check the wiring again and I cannot get the pin to release it. Could that make a difference? We are able to get the doorbell to connect to the router no problem, but we are unable to connect a mobile device to the doorbell via the router to change doorbell settings, view video, etc. Maybe your mobile device is connected go the 5 GHz wifi while the doorbell is on 2.4 GHz. checking through my settings, I do have some ports forwarded for online games. Things I've tried on my Netgear R6400 that haven't changed a thing: -Opening my network, removing all security WPA protocols, -Ensuring 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz are on separate SSIDS, -Ensuring there are no basic restrictions in any setting, -Rebooting the router many times throughout this, -Specifying specific radio channel as well as using Auto, -Changing router modes from 450Mbps and down, -Shutting my router off and moving it right next to the damn doorbell. Been working with Eufy/Anker support (for weeks) but they are slow and so far unable to find a solution. When I connect it to homekit, the stream stops working. I don’t believe you can get a double Nat from that setup. This morning the doorbell is “offline” and will not reset. The adapter gives the doorbell consistent power from the transformer while being able to “switch” the circuit and ring the chime without losing power to the doorbell.
Has anyone else had this issues? Things I've tried on my Phone & Doorbell: -Restarting the doorbell & Disconnecting power entirely, -Removing the device in mobile app & attempting setup again. Mine came with a broken mounting plate, tabs on bottom are broken.
Tell the mobile to forget the 5 GHz SSID. I had to put a few washers between the bracket and the wall so that it can be lifted a little bit from the wall. I have just installed a Eufy video doorbell. When I had this issue it was the little tab that covers the USB port that was the culprit.
Initially I thought this was my Doorbell transformer, and I wasn't getting enough power.
